Currently the deadline remains as the 4 th July 2025 The European Commission has proposed extending the deadline for the phase-out of PFOA in fire-fighting foam to 3rd December 2025. This proposal has been adopted, but the amendment has not yet been officially designated. Currently the deadline remains the 4th July 2025 until sometime as it's officially implemented by the Commission.
